| Camelplas is Plasvacc's APVMA (Australian Pesticide and Veterinary Medicine Authority) registered camelid plasma product. Rich in gamma globulins, Camelplas is collected from hyperimmunised donor dromedary camels that reside at the Plasvacc plasma production facility, the only facility of its kind in Australia.
Camelplas is used to supplement the immune system of camels and is a highly effective treatment for Failure of Passive Transfer (FTP) and Partial Failure of Passive Transfer (PFPT) in alpaca cria. Camelplas can also be used to great effect as a supportive therapy for a range of conditions, such as diarrhoea, colitis, renal conditions and active infections.

| Plasvacc is the only APVMA registered plasma production facility in Australia, and, in accordance with APVMA protocols, our quality standards are subject to intense APVMA scrutiny.
Every batch of plasma undergoes extensive quality control checks. These quality checks span a three month period and ensure that each batch of Camelplas is disease-free, free of all blood cells and contain a concentration of gamma globulins 2-3 times higher than that of normal camels.
Camelplas is the only camelid plasma product in Australia that can guarantee high and uniform gamma globulin concentrations in each treatment unit. Every 300mL treatment unit of Camelplas will contain a minimum of 4.5g of gamma globulins, sometimes much more. |
